Scrappy's Stroll @ Cleveland

Hey! My name is Ashlee, I am 23 years old & have had a passion for animals since I was a toddler! All animals deserve love & companionship. I have tons of experience... from saving baby raccoons, rehabilitating rescues, working with horses & livestock, comforting expecting mothers, to nursing 10 pup litter back to health from parvo. I love all breeds, especially Bully breeds ( Pitbull, Bull Mastiff, Bulldogs, Boxers, Rottweilers, ect) I firmly believe there are no BAD PETS, just BAD PET OWNERS.
I rescued a Boxer/ Bull Mastiff mix puppy about 5 months ago, his name is Scrappy Doo. His litter was being traded for t.vs, packs of cigarettes, and other household items. These people asked no questions, & didn't seem to care where these puppies would end up. Malnutritioned, dehydrated, ridden with worms, covered in feces & flees... I took the smallest, weakest looking pup & gave him the best life! He was definitely abused, would coward & pee if you tried to pet, hold, or move towards him. I immediately bathed him, dewormed, gave him his 1st set of shots & put him on a high protein puppy diet. We have worked so hard on building his confidence & strength! Scrappy is a feisty, loving pup now! He knows sit, high five, release, & is house trained, leash training( in progress) & crate trained. We love to hike in the mountains, swim at the lake, play fetch & dig holes!
Have you ever been told "It's just a dog" or "Pets don't have feelings"? They are very wrong! Pets, no matter breed, or species, have feelings, & want love & affection just as much as we do! Fur babies can sense the good/ bad in people, & like all caring owners, don't you want to make sure your family is being loved, played with, & treated like family while you are away? I assure safety, proper meals, potty breaks, & love as if your family, is my family too!
I love being around/ working with animals because even on the worst of days, they are right beside you. Doing what they can to comfort you, whether bringing favorite toys, or laying their head on your lap. Having a companion that loves you, & is willing to risk their own lives to protect you & your family. That's love in the fullest definition. It amazing how animals can help you overcome some of the hardest challenges in your lives, & only want love & affection in return!
