I’m a major pet lover and so is my family, so growing up I have always dog sat for everyone. I’ve become familiar with every type of dog breed since I worked for a dog boutique & grooming store, that required a lot of hands on tasks for different dogs in different situations.
Growing up I had a pug. She was a day old puppy when I met her, I had to fight for her in my parents divorce & after she turned 13, we had to euthanize her due to cancer when I was 18. I took a 2 year break.. Now I have an 8 year old rescued chihuahua dachshund that I got 5 years ago, she’s been quite the handful but such a blessing. Everyone loves her.

I am not qualified in dog grooming or bathing but I have had hands on experience in a grooming salon, especially basic baths. I’ve also donated my time to elderly people on a fixed income, to get their dogs cleaned up. My mom’s dog had diabetes, we had to administer insulin as needed based on her glucose tests at mealtime. Not certified in it but I do have experience with that as well as needing to take pills on a daily basis, with difficult & easy pets. I’m extremely familiar & very patient with abused & scared animals, ones that are trying to transition into new settings or went through something traumatic or are just built that way. That goes for reactive dogs as well. I watch out for signals from them, I understand why they’re acting a type of way. It’s the best way to avoid situations in my option. I can keep up with training tasks, reapplying them your trainer or you prefers for it to be.
