Karime's Pet Sitting @ Roanoke

Hi! My name is Karime and I am a Colombian American female student studying abroad in Madrid until June. I have had dogs since I was a baby and I miss my dog from home very much. I'm hoping to earn some extra money while doing something i love !

I have a 70 lb labradoodle named Ace. I raised and trained him since he was 8 weeks old. I have also personally raised and trained 3 other dogs of different breeds/sizes in the past 4 years all by myself.
I treat dogs like they are children, because they are! Dogs are a part of the family and I always give them a lot of affection and care whether they are old and small or large and hyperactive. I know how to handle larger dogs and am comfortable with all temperaments, as well as special needs dogs.
I was a dog walker and dog sitter a year ago but unfortunately had to stop temporarily due to a sports related injury. It's one of my favorite jobs I've ever had. I got to spend time connecting with different dogs and their owners and even receive updates from past clients !

I have always been a dog person and I feel like most dogs can understand when a human is welcoming. I have always had a special touch with dogs, whether they are shy or aggressive. It is all about patience because dogs have personalities just like human beings.
