Growing up I always was drawn to animals. I was lucky enough to grow up in an environment in which I was responsible for the well-being of a variety of animals from dogs, cats and horses to fish, birds, hamsters, and various other reptiles.
Not only was I able to develop a deep love for animals but I developed profound respect for all creatures. I believe every animal, large or small, deserves a happy loving life. I feel privileged to be able to continue providing the highest quality of care for your fur (or scale) babies while you are on vacation, working or just need extra help!

I have experience owning a multitude of different pets as mentioned above. The animals I have owned and assumed full responsibility of care on are hamsters, small & large dogs, horses, tortoises, Leopard geckos, love birds, hermit crabs, and various species of fish.
The animals I have experience caring for are, aquatic turtles, cats, gerbils, mice, rats, chickens, ducks, donkeys, bearded dragons, and toads. However I am always willing to add to that list and do all proper research on your pets needs!
Most people love taking care of dogs and cats, it's an enjoyable part time job to help pay some bills. However I want to pursue a career in a field where I would be caring for various animals daily. I want to work in conservation and research, and a major part of that is caring for many different types of at risk animals. Not only do I see this job as an enjoyable way to make some money, but I also am hoping to build a career off it someday.
. I know what it's like to leave a pet behind for a fun vacation and be worried sick about them to whole time. I want to be able to provide owners with the reassurance that their pets will not only be cared for but that they will be treated with respect, kindness and of course unconditional love.
I believe you never stop learning when it comes to pet care, and just like people different animals require different needs and I will always communicate with you for questions, updates and to ensure your pet is thriving .

This is a very random fun fact about me but I created a betta fish rescue last year. I take in sick bettas either from stores for free or from people who no longer can care for them. I have dedicated hours upon hours of my time treating bettas for various diseases, nursing them back to health, researching proper husbandry, setting up tanks and eventually "adopting" them out.
