Hey there!! Glad you’re here, my name is Hope! I’m a student at Belmont and have recently gotten a dog myself (he’s amazing I love him so much) but in that I realized that I want all the dogs so the next best thing is caring for all the dogs, right? And that’s really my goal— to care for your furry friend in the best way possible while also still having fun!
I’ve had dogs basically all my life. When I was little, I had 2 boxers and was the only one who could calm down one of them. They both died suddenly and tragically, so a few years late, I got a miniature schnauzer who is still alive and well and old back home. But, like I said, I just bought a dog at the end of July and I promise you he is the sweetest dog and one of the smartest dogs you’ll ever meet. In high school, I volunteered at the humane society and took care of dogs in any way (and cats). I also frequent the humane society here, but just for fun.

So I’m not sure why this happens, but everyone calls me the dog whisperer because I can teach a dog something one day and they’ll understand it within like 72 hours. It’s crazy. Also, I’m in a learning and conditioning psych class right now, and a lot of what we talk about is how to mold and shape animal behavior!
