I absolutely love dogs, and I was never able to own one, and most likely will not be able to in the near future. However, I find dogsitting to be a very enjoyable activity from a personal hobby perspective, and to be very beneficial from a financial perspective. I'm getting paid to play with and watch over a dog, that's a sweet deal!
Unfortunately, I have never owned a pet myself, however I have watched my friends' pets, all dogs, for time periods ranging from one day to three days. And I found all my experiences highly enjoyable, and all my friends were satisfied with my service.
