I have cared for animals my entire life and I have owned more dogs, cats and other animals over the years than I can count. My husband and I operate Shores Pet Sitters where we do not discriminate against any breed of dog. One love for all dogs and people!
We are the proud parents to Roxanne, a lab mix, and Maddie, a young beagle mix. We have owned/cared for all types of animals, including lizards and snakes, fish, guinea pigs, gerbils, frogs… We have three animal loving children who have left the nest, so we’ve had a variety of pets over the years including an ant farm.

We have rescued many animals and volunteered at the Humane Society and animal shelters for over 20 years. My husband and I operate Shores Pet Sitters full-time. We also founded and operate the Facebook group, “Lost Found and Homeless Pets of Saint Johns County Florida”, we are foster Pet parents for local shelters, and we have assisted hurricane victims and their pups to restart their families.

Summary.
Our day starts early with a trip outside to our fully fenced backyard. Then everyone is ready for an early breakfast we are each PUP eat separately. Every dog is fed separately and given as much time as they need to finish their meal. Then it’s usually play time naptime and repeat at dinner time! When the day is done and everyone is ready to bed down, the pups sleep wherever they like. They choose from pet beds, sofas, a plush rug, or a warm fuzzy blanket shared with a new friend. Some pups need a little extra, so they sleep with us. We do our best to conform to the dogs needs instead of having them conform to us.
