I have owned an oversized Pomeranian and a Chihuahua since I was eight years old. I absolutely love and enjoy spending time with both of them, and taking them for daily walks.

Summary.
Depending on the breed of the dog/the preferences of both you and your dog, walking distance will vary. For larger dogs I tend to go for a longer walk, and for smaller dogs a shorter walk. If given permission, and depending on the weather, I am more than happy to take your dog to the local dog park to allow them to let loose some energy before going back home. Weekends are preferable, as I have school during the week days, but arrangements can be made.
