I have grown up with animals all of my life. we always had at least 3 rescues at a time and as i became an adult, ive had one rescue and the rest cats (they dont require a yard and they are hilarious.
ive had pigs, rabbit, iguana, guinea pigs, hamsters fish and dogs and cats. a family pet is not a possession, its a family members. I value the feelings of every living creature and i gain insight from a dog/cats personality to determine needs, wants, dislikes, feelings ect
i have one russian blue cat at the moment. she reads me like a book just as i read her. we are very very close and I feel like my cat understands a lot of what i say due to her responses.
