Hi, I'm Winter! I love all animals and have grown up with dogs and cats. They have brought me comfort and companionship when I've needed it the most and I would love to do the same for them now.
I've had a variety of dogs through out my life. When I was very little we had medium sized mixed breeds and I loved taking them for walks with my parents. We had gotten a husky a few years later who I was responsible for feeding and washing. I have black lab with my boyfriend who I've been taking care for the last two years he has diabetes and needs shots after eating which is one of the types of medicine I know how to administer.
I am flexible and will try my best to help out however I can. I've been taking care of animals all my life and enjoy being around them and making sure they're needs are met. They take care of us so I believe we should give them our best in return.
I love dogs, they are so happy and deserve to be loved and taken care of. On top of that I love nature and going for walks which makes this the perfect work for me. I grew up in the mountains and used to go for walks all the time and would even offer to walk my neighbors dogs when they would be gone for the summers, I loved it then and I still love it now.

Summary.
The day would start with me coming over to pick up your dog, and making sure they have water first. Using whatever specified collar the owners would like used and making sure its attached properly. Grabbing a doggy bag and then heading out on our adventure! Anywhere green and a park if available, then if it's permitted by their owner to play fetch or tug of war with their favorite toys! And if they are more mellow just to allow them to enjoy the grass and smells or to just relax in the sun. If there are specified extra activities by their owner such as going to a dog park and allowing them to socialize or anything like that I would be more than happy to oblige. And of course to give them head pats and belly scratches because what dog doesn't love that (If you would like me not to please let me know before hand). Then to take them home and give them what ever they might need, like water and food if allowed by owner. I have a diabetic dog at the moment so i also understand specific feeding times and how to administer insulin shots. I can even pet sit if their owner would like me to for a short time (Such as you're about to come home soon and would like me to stay there with your pup so they're not alone).
