Hi there! I’m Johanna. I’m a real animal lover and have shared my life with many dogs and cats since childhood. I’ve worked as a vet tech and a pet caregiver for many years. Most recently, I’ve been a pet caregiver and have completed over 2000 walks and many sittings and boardings as well. I absolutely love my clients dogs! There’s nothing better than playing fetch with a rambunctious pup and seeing the pure joy on their faces as I interact with them. I also love taking leisurely strolls with senior dogs along quiet streets or nature trails. I welcome pets of any age, breed or temperament. I’ve also worked with dogs who have been abused and have behavioral problems. I would welcome the chance to meet your fur baby and be their new caregiver and develop a lasting relationship with them!
Currently I have two older dogs, a Japanese Chin and a Chihuahua /Rat terrier mix who still love daily strolls on nature trails or the beach. I also own a year old Boston Terrier who could win agility contests and can run faster than any greyhound I’ve ever seen. It’s hard to explain to strangers the boundless energy this breed has. He brings a lot of exuberant joy and fun to the household! His best friends are the six cats that reside in my home.

I have worked as a vet tech and have experience administering medications and have worked with sick animals. I’ve assisted veterinarians so I know what to expect after surgery and how to care for recovering animals. I’ve also worked with aggressive animals, and/or behavioral problems and dogs recovering from abuse. Im very patient with them and find that they just need a kind, gentle and patient person and a loving caregiver. As a pet caregiver I have three year’s experience walking dogs, pet sittings with dogs and cats. I also board animals in my home and many of my boarders have grown to be best buddies with my Boston who absolutely loves playing with them. I’m sure he would enjoy meeting your fur baby! Of course, if you’d rather me keep your baby separate from my pets, I have room to accommodate that request as well.
