I am an animal lover and I adore taking care of our precious four-legged friends!
I grew up around animals and have always loved caring for them. A few years ago, I adopted a senior Pit mix named Gimli who filled our house with so much love. Since his passing, I have not been ready to adopt another animal, but I am ready to care for the furry family members of others.
I have experience caring for a special needs dog with multiple health and behavioral issues. I am comfortable administering medication such as pills, eye drops and skin creams, and I understand how to handle a dog who is anxious and not dog-friendly. I am very good at honoring any specific accomodations that your dog needs. Rest assured that I will take good care of your fur baby.
Additionally, while I have an abundance of experience with animals, I currently do not have any pets in my house. This means that your pets will have the place to themselves. I also live in a very safe, dog friendly gated community. There are many places that we can explore so that your dog is mentally and physically stimulated.
Caring for animals brings me great joy and a sense of purpose. I know how hard it is to leave your pet to someone else, so I will take care of them the way I wanted my own pets to be taken care of.

Summary.
I offer overnight dog boarding in my home. Your dogs will be walked at least 3 times a day in a safe, dog friendly gated community with lots of places to explore. They will be walked once in the morning before I leave for my day job around 6am, and then they'll be walked twice or more after I come home at 3:30pm. During the day, they will have over half of my (dog-proofed) house to themselves, unless crating is requested. They will of course be fed with any medications and special instructions that they may need, and they will be loved and played with every day that they are under my care. You will receive lots of cute photo updates!
