Hi i'm Katrina! i'm a 21 year old law student on a gap year. I enjoy being with animals for as long as i remember. i just have that gene in me. So im looking to escape the loop of a toxic retail environment by following my dreams of being a pet sitter.
I currently have a family dog, Pixie, she's a 10 year old Yorkshire terrier and i had her since i was 11. Even though me & my family share her, i would say she's my soulmate. My responsibility is to bath her, walk her, play with her and most importantly cuddles. I miss her while i'm away as i currently live with my boyfriend 20 minutes away.

I also working to get different certifications and skills. I definitely would say that i have basic skills of giving medical attention such as medicine administration and CPR as i can follow instructions carefully. I have received those skills as none pet related jobs i had as a teen (server, event representative & vinted seller). Currently i'm a university student, pet sitter & vinted seller.

A Typical Walk:
Each walk begins with a happy hello and a gentle check-in to make sure your dog is ready to go. I always take the time to ensure they’re fitted properly in their lead or harness, and I bring water, treats (if allowed), and waste bags so we’re fully prepared.
We explore your local area at a pace that suits your dog. For energetic pups, that might mean a brisk walk, jog, or games of fetch in a nearby park. For others, it might be a slower, sniff-filled stroll where they can explore scents, listen to the birds, and enjoy some fresh air. I never rush walks and always keep your dog’s comfort and mood in mind.
Along the way, I work on basic leash manners and reinforce good behavior. Positive reinforcement is at the heart of how I walk with dogs—your pet will always be treated with patience, encouragement, and kindness.
When the walk is over, I make sure your pup is safely back inside, clean and dry if needed, with fresh water topped up. I’ll also send you a quick update and a photo or two so you know how the walk went and how your dog is doing.
