Happy Paws Animal Care @ East Kilbride G74

Hi!! My name is Fiona and I am 29 years old. I have been a lifelong pet owner and animal lover!! Born into a household with 4 cats, I have owned 3 dogs (all rescues) 9 cats, a rabbit and a mouse back in my home in Australia! I now live in Glasgow and own 2 cats and 5 birds! Pets are important members of the family and deserve the best love and attention! My babies are super spoilt with loads of cuddles and kisses and I love walking friends dogs for them as I love the outdoors and taking them on adventures!!
I have owned cats my whole life, and dogs since I was about 6 years old. Most of my pets have been rescues, either from an adoption centre or strays rescued from the street. I currently own 2 cats, both rescues. Delilah is a little princess and Ollie is a cheeky boy who still thinks he is a kitten! They get lots of love and attention including grooming, lots of play time with different toys, and ongoing care after vet visits if needed. I have 3 cockatiels and 2 parrots, all of which gets lots of time to fly around my house (cats not in the same room) i spend a lot of time training them and the cockatiels enjoy sitting on my shoulder and jump up on my hand on command. They love getting treats like peanuts and carrots and they enjoy daily love spray baths!!
I would treat your pet as if it was my own. They would be showered with cuddles and kisses and affection.
I love the outdoors so love walking dogs and taking them on adventures. I’m very reliable and would carry out care exactly to the owners instructions. As i have owned pets my whole life, I am very good at picking up animals emotions and would always make sure that any pet in my care, is fed, watered, cleaned, groomed etc in accordance to the job being carried out
Animals show unconditional love for the people that care for them, and caring for animals just makes me feel great. I’m my happiest when I’m around animals which means I go the extra mile as I enjoy what I’m doing. I love getting to know each animals individual personality and making them feel happy and safe.

I have done general work experience at a vet back in Australia, which included dog washing, cleaning out cages, watching surgical procedures. Living in Australia I have also had experience in native animal rescues including possums, kangaroos, fruit bats etc. I think I have a really good animal lover vibe that I put out, as I always seem to make animal friends where ever I go, whether that be stray cats/dogs, farm animals etc
