Hello! My name’s Shannon and I work from home so am available to provide pet sitting care. Your animals will be loved and cared for like I do with my own.

If you require you sitting/fully day or overnight care I request internet access so I can work whilst looking after your animals, this only applies Monday - Friday and your pets needs will still be prioritised
I own a horse, a dog and a pet snake. I also have had previous experience caring for cats, rodents, lizards and spiders. I have previously worked at a horse riding school where I was also required to provide care for a pet sheep, so I have a little experience of the less typical pets! I’m confident in handling large horses, and also competition fit horses, however due to previous injury I am unable to exercise your horses (I can lunge if they are well behaved).

I’m afraid I do not have experience caring for animals that would be classed as dangerous, for example venomous snakes, however I do have experience dealing with tarantulas so am happy to look after them. If you’re unsure please reach out and ask! I will come back to you if I’m unable to provide care for your pet.
As a fellow pet owner I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your animals in the care of someone else - particularly in your own home! As part of my job I am DBS checked (I work as a civil servant) so you can have piece of mind that your home is in good hands. As you would expect from anyone on here I absolutely adore animals, and would hope to be able to provide your pets with the ultimate care and attention that they are used to and that you would expect!

I have my own vehicle, so can provide emergency transport to the vets if needed (which hopefully wouldn’t be!) I have also been a lifetime pet owner, so I am used to having animals around and being aware of their needs.
I enjoy spending time with animals and this is something I would love to be able to do alongside my day to day work. My experience is currently limited to family and friends, (bar working at the riding school) so I am looking to build up my experience and references
