My name is Adam I enjoy being with pets because I find them therapeutic and their care rewarding :)
Currently I keep a Pacific Parrotlet called Rio and a Peach-faced Lovebird called Mango.

They are fully flighted birds and live free-flying around my home!

Although, they do have cages for bed/quiet time, should they decide to use them at any point.

I have tons of previous experience with all sorts of reptiles, birds, aquatics etc as well as mammals from hamsters to horses!
As much as my passion lies with all animals I am specifically interested in caring for exotics with more specific/complex care requirements.

During visits I can check temps and humidity levels on reptile enclosures and adjust equipment where necessary.

Carry out feedings in line with your current schedules to ensure minimal disruption to growth behaviours.

More than happy handling any kind of rodents and insects both for feeding purposes or for care purposes.

Comfortable handling all exotic animals from snakes to macaws.


Alongside my care for animals which brings me joy through therapeutic reward, I am also employed as a security officer which also brings me joy as I like the responsibility of ensuring everybody's safety around me.

In the future I would ideally like to move this career more towards either dog handling or possibly training security dogs but for now I'm just trying to pay the bills! :)
