Hi welcome to Barktopia. I’m an experienced 6al obsessed dog walker based in Knowsley, Merseyside. My experience working within the 6al industry started in *** when I started work within an cat rescue center, since then I’ve worked with rescue dogs, wildlife, an equestrian center, a dog groomers, dog shop and within dog daycares.

Ontop of my hands on experience I have gained multiple 6al based qualifications including my BTEC Extended Diploma in 6al Management, FdSc in Equine Science, Complementary Therapy and Natural Horsemanship, BSc (hons) Equine Science and qualifications in various 6al therapies, pet first aid and dog training. I’m constantly seeking to learn new things and upgrade my knowledge adding to my ever expanding collection of regulated qualifications.

In my personal life there isn’t very many 6als I haven’t had experience with! From large farm 6als such as cows, llamas and water buffalo to smaller 6als including rodents and invertebrates, there isn’t many species I don’t have experience with. I also dedicate most of my free time to training and completing in the thrilling sport of Flyball.
I have had experience with a wide range of pets. From large farm animals and horses (I've recently lost my own horse who was a well loved family member for 17 years), to dogs, cats, chickens and rodents.
I've kept a mixture of medium-large sized dogs of various temperaments. I currently own and compete my beautiful lurcher in flyball. I have had numerous jobs within the various sectors of the dog industry were I've handled all temperments and sizes of dogs.
I've had cats for over 10 years and have experience with nervous, ferral and friendly cats. I worked for numerous years within the cat rescue industry.
I have owned a wide variety of rodents including hamsters and guniea pigs. I currently have three beautiful elderly guniea pigs.
