I’ve grown up around pets and had them my whole life! Personally I’ve grown up mostly around cats but have owned dogs, reptiles, fish and rodents! Currently I have two cats, a gecko and some fish and my partner has a Cocker Spaniel that I care for when I’m at his. I find pets to be so comforting and calming, I love watching them be silly and get up to their daily activities!
I own a sphinx cat and a moggie, as well as a one eyed leopard gecko and some fish. My moggie cat has some health issues so I’m used to administering medication to her twice daily. I’m also used to having to hand feed my gecko due to her perception not being too good, and also washing my sphinx cat and grooming her weekly. I also help my partner with his cocker spaniel when I’m with him and am used to handling elderly dogs and young dogs on and off lead.

I’ve been pet sitting for over a year now professionally but also unofficially before that for family friends. I’ve had experience administering pills and syringe oral medications on cats and dogs and have had experience administering injection medication with cats. I have experience handling reactive and nervous dogs in public as well as in the home and have had experience with nervous and reactive cats. I’m used to handling reptiles and feeding some live animals (though crickets and locusts still scare me!).
