I have over 12 years experience working with animals and they still find ways to surprise me.
Working with animals is never dull and helping owners to keep their pets happy is very rewarding.
I have2 cats Moomin and Riley, who are both 9 years old, and are the complete opposites of each other.
One is terrified of life and the other is so feisty only I can handle her, so I’m well aware of the individual personalities pets can have and that every pet has different needs.
I worked in a veterinary practice for over 8 years and a kennel for 4 years. I’m experienced at giving medication, grooming and clipping claws.
I also have a level 3 diploma in Animal Care that I completed while on the job.
I enjoy the sheer joy of working with animals. It doesn’t matter what else has happened that day they are always happy to see you.
It’s also very rewarding when you get an animal to trust you. Having the cat you’ve been looking after for a few days finally come and sit with you.

I have a level 3 diploma in animal care. I also have lots of experience handling animals during procedures or to give them medication. I’ve also got a lot of experience with grooming for medical reasons. Brushing, shaving and bathing. When I worked at the vets I was always called upon to handle the problem cats that no1 else could. I understand them because I have a problem cat.
