My name is Demelza and I'm a life-long animal lover, zoology graduate and registered pet sitter who loves all pets, big and small! My love of animals began from an early age and has continued throughout my life. Pets have always been a big part of my life. I completed my degree in zoology at UWS in 2016. My work experience has included Lakeland Animal Aid, The Cats Protection League and Scottish Owl Centre.
I have a rescue cat named Sméagol who is a LaPerm breed, he came into my life ten years ago and has brought me so much happiness! Throughout the years I have owned a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, frogs, toads and fish!
I provide private solo dog walks, 1 dog at a time unless they are from the same family, so as to give your pet my full attention during their exercise and playtime. I would be happy to provide fun and safe walks for your dog which are tailored to your dogs individual needs. Walks can be fully tracked on request and are fully insured for peace of mind. I am also advance first aid trained for your dogs safety. Your dog will be loved as if he/she was my own and will be kept safe and secure while in my care. Expect lots of fun walks, playtime, cuddles and treats. Every dog is an individual, and I will get to know your pet’s personality, likes and dislikes and daily routine before your booking takes place. For your dog's daily exercise needs, some of my favourite spots are Knightswood Park, Temple recreation grounds, Forth and Clyde Canal walkway and Cairnhill Woods. You will be kept updated with all your pet’s antics through the App and you can follow the Dee Dolittles page so that you can rest assured that your pet is enjoying their time. All breeds and sizes catered for including puppy walks and elderly dogs comfort breaks. Additional dogs from the same household on request up to a maximum of 4. Animals have always been my life’s passion, I feel blessed to be able to provide loving hands-on care to other people’s pets. I know how important your fur babies are and I feel honoured to be entrusted with them in your absence. I have been building positive relationships with clients and their pets in my local community since 2016 and love my vocation as a self employed pet sitter!
