Liverpool Dog Walking With Rach @ Merseyside L1

I have two dogs at my family home, in fact I have always grown up with pets in the home and dogs all my life. I currently have two dogs at home and I adore them. One is now the ripe old age of 11; 12 at the end of June and our other dog is turning 2 in September so quite a mix age wise. I am 24 and have studied animal based fields for 4 years. I also worked at a dogs kennels for a while as a dog walker however didn’t enjoy it. I understand when people are on holidays they often don’t have a choice, and most facilities are very good. However the one I worked at was fantastically clean. But I felt it was a bit cold and the pets deserved more love and longer walks however I was not able to do due to the high level of dogs at the kennel. I would rather give lots of time to just a few dogs.
My family own a Golden retriever, in fact we have always owned golden retrievers since I was born, but currently we have Murphy, he is coming 12 at the end of June and he is the most docile, loving dog i have ever met. He is a pedigree and as he is coming to the end of his life we have had to take more care of him. He has stiff hips and a bit of arthritis and bad ears but still loves a walk and especially a swim, both in lakes and the sea.

Our second dog is a big change in our family. We recently got a cockapoo, he is called cooper and turning 2 in September and he is a little fire cracker. Due to the poodle in him, he is very intelligent and I often have to come up with daily little challenges along with his walks and training to keep him interested. He is also must more vocal, but he has tamed our hearts. We really enjoy having a small dog and he is nest for cuddles in bed in the morning.

Unfortunately I have recently just moved to Liverpool in England. I walked both my dogs at home daily varying in distances from 1.5 mile to 3 every day and having moved I really miss getting out walking dog every day. And this is why I decided to sign up for this app. So I can get a little dog fix away from home.

Other skills

I have a BSc and an MSc in zoology and conservation. And both of these included 5+ module in animal care. I also have recently worked in South Africa and spent some time working with and training their anti-poaching dogs to find tracks, bulletins and guns as well as attack handling and general training. However I don’t imagine any dogs in Liverpool will need such training.
