I love pets, I have owned various pets my whole life from; dogs, cats lizards and even rats. I grew up in Northumberland in the countryside and me and my family would spend our weekends going around finding good places to walk the dog.
My pet at the moment is a old but young at heart miniature Labrador who goes crazy as soon as she touches grass. She is a rescue dog and has had bad past experiences while she is on a lead so she is a handful whenever we pass another dog. After years of trail and error we've came to a good technique to deal with it and she is now very good when passing other dogs (she has even made friends with some!).

I grew up on a farm and helped out with lots of different animals; lambing, feeding the cows, tending to the horses and looking after chickens. So I have seen it all before and I am ready for whatever challenge will come.

Summary.
My walks are customised to the dogs needs/size/energy. For example, if it is a small or older dog I will go for a slower more relaxed walk letting the dog choose where it wants to go. But if it was a young energetic dog I would throw a ball or go for a run with the dog to try and use up all of its energy. No matter where I walk it will be in a green space with lots of grass and trees. I believe that dogs can only get full enjoyment and exercise out of these big open grassy spaces. I always bring a selection of toys and balls (I know some dogs are picky). I will take the dog in the back of my car (with permission) and drive to a park outside the centre of the city so that it is quieter and gives the dog everything it needs to fully relax.
