Been around animals for 20+ years
Level 3 Diploma in Equine Management
BSc(Hons) Forensic Chemistry
Worked as a lab technician after university but wanted to make my dream come true of being self employed as a dog walker/boarder
Have my own vehicle with a full clean driving licence
Have basic and an enhanced DBS check
Booked on Level 3 course in Animal/Pet care this September
I still currently have my guide dog puppy. I also have a 9 year old cat called Zelda. She is used to being around dogs. I have taught her dog tricks such as “high5” “spin” and “paw”
Dog Walking:
1 hour duration walks unless instructed otherwise
group or individual walks offered depending on the dog
a variety of walks depending on weather and location i.e woodland, fields, enclosed parks
complimentary photo updates of your pooches to brighten up your day!(unless instructed otherwise)
no restricted time of day to walk your dog. It's all down to the client
I try and accomodate as much as possible to my client
If in groups, I limit to around 3 dogs per walk as I prefer to focus more on the dogs on a 1 to 1 level
I like to build trust by not bringing any toys on a walk so dogs can focus more on me than a tennis ball. This is to build recognition of my voice for recalls if allowed off lead.

Pet Sitting/Visiting:
Pop in visits for any pet(dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, rats etc)
I have a basic and an enhanced DBS check
Duration is instructed by client
I offer feeding and walking(dogs) if desired
some animals cope better in their own environment which is why I offer this
up to 10 hours of pet sitting
visiting can range from a little as 15 minutes
added home security for the clients i.e opening/shutting blinds etc
any other requirements offered i.e watering plants

I love making the animals happier. Seeing them in their element and giving the love that they deserve makes my job a dream job!

I am a puppy walker for the Guide Dog Association. I have trained and cared for a puppy for a year before going off to advance training. The puppy has lived with me 24/7 so I understand the basic training like toilet training as well as more advanced training of recall and overall manners I have the patience in handling troubled, challenging dogs. I dog sat a rescue dog that had a terrible past life and had become an antisocial dog. She would bark at every stranger except myself and her family. I know that I have a calming presence towards animals and give positive reinforcement when training them. I know how to behave around excitable dogs and I'm always up for a challenge. I know that I always want to be around dogs(and cats). So I'd always love to care for any animal there is!
