Danaei's Pet Day Care @ Groningen

Hi! I am Danaei, a Dutch-Greek RUG student. I grew up in Greece surrounded with animals, having all sorts of pets since I was very young. I absolutely adore animals, so much that I decided to study biology because of them.
At home in Greece I have 15 cats and a dog. I consider them to be members of my family and my every day life at home included taking care of them, walking them and having a cozy cuddly time with them. In the Netherlands I have a pet mouse. My mother and I also make arts and crafts to sell and we donate the profit to animal shelters. Additionally, I have also done volunteer work in animal shelter.
Growing up with animals, I learned to understand their needs and body language. I am careful about giving them the proper care and making them happy. As I miss my own pets now, I want to share my love with other animals here. Also, studying biology gives me even more insight into how to take proper care of animals. I would enjoy spending time with your pet when you are busy or on a holiday!
I like to give love and care to animals because when they are happy, it fills me with warmth. I want to give the love that I would give to my pets to others as well. Animal rights and welfare are very important to me and I would like to play even a small part in making life for pets better.

Able to recognise subtle signs of a problem

Basic understanding of how to manage and care for pet

Other skills

I do know how to administer some medication and treatment, depending on the severity of the problem, but I will always consult a vet first to make sure your pet will be safe.
