Over the past seven years, I have dedicated my time and skills to running a successful kennel, where I have gained extensive experience in handling and caring for a diverse range of dogs. This journey has taught me not only the art of managing a kennel but also the nuances of understanding and caring for each unique breed. My experience spans toy breeds like Chihuahuas and Pomeranians to large breeds such as German Shepherds and Great Danes, each with its own set of requirements, personality traits, and behavioral quirks.

Working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments has equipped me with a deep understanding of canine behavior. I’ve learned to interpret their body language, recognize signs of anxiety or discomfort, and respond appropriately to make each dog feel safe and comfortable. This understanding allows me to adapt my approach to suit each individual dog, ensuring they are at ease and well-cared for in my kennel. My years of hands-on experience have made me adept at managing everything from basic obedience needs to addressing the specific health and grooming requirements that different breeds often have.

In my kennel, maintaining a clean, safe, and structured environment is a top priority. I ensure that each dog’s physical, mental, and emotional needs are met, whether that involves playtime, social interaction, or quiet, restful spaces. I have also developed strong, effective routines for feeding, exercise, and health checks, tailored to accommodate various breeds’ dietary and activity level differences. Large, energetic breeds, for example, require more space and exercise, while smaller breeds may need gentler, more frequent interactions. Understanding these distinctions helps me provide the highest level of care.

One of the most rewarding aspects of running the kennel has been building relationships with the dogs and their owners. Many of my clients return regularly because they trust my ability to keep their pets safe, happy, and well looked after. I’ve had the pleasure of watching puppies grow up, helping shy dogs become more confident, and seeing energetic dogs channel their energy in positive ways. Every dog brings something special to the kennel, and I feel privileged to be a part of their lives.
