I grew up on a farm and I love having pets around to take care of! It's very comforting
My family has had dogs since I was very small. We had a German Shepherd rescue when I was very young, a couple of labradors and right now we have one lab and on lab-dane-bulldog mix. I grew up in a farm so big dogs are a constant in my life. We also have chickens, horses, and cats in the barn. At one point we also had a goat and a donkey. I also have a house cat, and a horse that are mine alone.
Growing up on a farm, I have alot of experience with a wide variety of animals, and a lot of experience patching them up when things go wrong. I've dealt with all kinds of sicknesses and injuries and complications.
Animals are just wonderful. There's such a feeling of accomplishment when you successfully communicate without words.
