I am an animal lover, I used to rescue and foster stray animals and rehabilitate them until they found their forever home.
I came to study in Canada, and I don't think it's fair getting a pet when I cannot give it the proper attention.
I would love to be around animals and take care of them in my free time:))
I fostered around 4 dogs (German shepherd mix/cooker spaniel/ golden retriever mix/ saint Bernard mix)
I fostered 15+ cats (street cats, Arabian mau, Russian blue, Persian)
Also fostered a grey parrot
I'm extremely gentle with animals, I am familiar with a lot of the pet's characters, and I respond to each unique type accordingly.
Some animals prefer some space, others want attention.
Each animal is unique, and I want them to feel comfortable.
Animals weren't allowed at our house when I was a kid.
I was always drawn to animals, and frankly I can't wait til I can go back to fostering and maybe having my own pet once I finish studies.

I do some experience administering medication and vaccines to animals, but by all means I'm not a pro. Same for training, I trained the dogs I fostered and my roommate's dog for basic stuff.
