Since the moment I was born I have had animals as a huge part of my life, from dogs big & small, to hamsters & rats, reptiles, cats, and birds. There is no bark too loud nor poop to smelly to keep them from holding the keys to my heart. My favourite part about meeting different animals is their personalities, and unlocking the key to their trust is one of the most fulfilling moments.
Where to start! I have a cat of my own, he is adopted and was a birthday gift to myself two years ago and continues to be a gift every day, from endless cuddles to sneak attacks - he keeps me on my toes. I also have two lizards who I definitely baby, a bearded dragon whom I’ve had for 3 years and loves me more than he loves his tank, and a leopard gecko I adopted this summer - she’s still getting used to me but will curl up in my hood anytime. Then I have my precious snake, he was also a rescue and although he is timid he lives a happy life and let’s me love him on special occasions. There are also two precious dogs in my home, both around a year old but polar opposites, my mom rescued them both from overseas. One thinks he is a lapdog, we don’t dare to tell him otherwise, and the other girl is a one wolf pack with enough clumsy to make up for both of them. They bring an abundance of joy to my days.
